The Horsehead Nebula - Barnard 33
Description:

This image was taken using the societies TOA 130 telescope and a QSI532 CCD camera. A Hydrogen Alpha filter was used.


This object can be found to the south of the belt star Alnitak in Orion. It is a very difficult object to observe visually as you need really dark and clear skies to see it in a small telescope. However is a favourite target for astrophotographers.
