Constellations and Cormorants the sequel

Venue: RSPB Old Moor
We've teamed up with the RSPB at Old Moor to bring you this event. Private Booking ONLY - Please contact Start with one of three short walks to the RSPB hides to watch winter wildfowl come in to roost. You may see barn owls return to their nests or bitterns settling down in the reed beds. After the walks we will show you the wonders of the night sky through powerful telescopes. In the classroom amazing footage of the stars will be presented by the team. In the Visitor Centre there will be a demonstration of a planetarium showing the wider planetary systems. In the cafe see footage of Earth from the International Space Station as you warm up with soup and a hot drink.

Dusk is a special time on Old Moor... The sounds of the geese and whistling wigeon, the pre-historic looking cormorants and maybe even a barn owl or bittern, could all be seen and heard.
